NEW ZEALAND
Pretty Paddock Sauvignon Blanc 2019, Marlborough, New Zealand.
Similar in style to the iconic Cloudy Bay this young white wine is a joy to drink. It is made from
the best fruit harvested from mature low yielding vines. £13.65
Snapper Rock Sauvignon Rose 2020. Marlborough, New Zealand.
Very clever wine making indeed; you want a rose then add a bit of Pinot Noir to your abundant
stock of Sauvignon Blanc. The thing is it works very well; the floral and herbaceous notes of the
Sauvignon combine beautifully with the red berry flavours of the Pinot Noir to produce a truly
refreshing dry pink wine. Perfect at any time of day or night with or without food; but a plate of
prawns or crab with some accompanying Samfire would go down very well. £ 9.95
Snapper Rock Sauvignon Blanc 2020. Marlborough, New Zealand.
Yet another Sauvignon Blanc from the South Island of New Zealand and once again completely
stunning. This delicious full flavoured white wine is perfectly dry whilst soaked in fresh ripe
vinous fruit and with a wonderful crisp balancing acidity to finish it off. Perfect with seafood or
lightly flavoured chicken or Oriental cuisine. £ 9.95
Ward Valley Epicentre Pinot Noir 2018. Marlborough, New Zealand.
It is so refreshing to find a red wine that stands its ground without resorting to intense jam and
alcohol flavours. This truly delicious Burgundy style red wine is light, it is gentle on the palate, it
doesn’t have mouth shocking tannins and therefore will need drinking quite young, but it is what
it is and very good it is too. Drink with some slightly underdone Lamb or fine cheese. £14.95
